The Shadow Navigation Shows bring a new, beautifully-crafted, live experience created jointly by both Jo Beth & Serious Child; featuring spiritually charged storytelling, hypnotic original songs and an atmospheric film and visual backdrop.
Acclaimed cellist Ben Roberts (Silver Moth, Abrasive Trees) will be joining them on stage along with Pete Lamb on electric guitar. It promises to be an unforgettable night.

Serious Child is Sussex-based songwriter and roots musician Alan Young (no relation to Jo Beth); and one of the most distinctive voices on the folk scene. He is also the sound man and promoter for the Petworth Sessions.
His performances are characterised by a deep connection with his audience and a restlessness as he moves between an array of instruments. He tells stories, laughs and chats like an old friend, whilst shifting seamlessly in styles from music hall to the saddest of folk ballads.
For this show, Serious Child will be premiering new material for a charity project for Save Ukraine, featuring songs about his brother Dave’s work in the war zone as an emergency relief driver.
