People often stop us in the street and ask if we will bring back certain bands to Petworth again where we’ve had a particularly brilliant night. A regular conversation goes like this - “When will you get that tall guy with the ukulele back where we all danced, what an amazing night”. The answer is now. We loved them too.

As a reminder, The Burning Glass are a six piece acoustic band that play powerful storytelling pop music that makes you want to dance. Edwin Brooks (the tall guy with the ukulele) writes songs that tell stories and make people laugh dance and sometimes cry. The band, and what a band they are, bring together musicians from classical, jazz and folk backgrounds using tuned percussion, ukulele, bass, electric guitar, drums and lots of singing to bring these songs to life. Over the last decade the band have built a cult following UK festival circuit, and they are firm favourites at Glastonbury.
